Thank you for your very generous support of the Brian L Rogers Sr & Jr Memorial Scholarship Fund. We were fortunate to have perfect weather and a beautifully conditioned golf course. For those who joined us, we hope you had a wonderful time, and for those who could not attend, we look forward to welcoming you next year.
We are thrilled to share that this year’s event raised over $50,000 in net proceeds, bringing the scholarship fund to nearly $450,000! When we first started this event and the scholarship, we never imagined reaching such milestones. This success is thanks to you – our participants, sponsors, donors, and volunteers – whose generosity and support make it all possible. A special thank you goes to United Legwear and Travelers for supplying the Puma wear and Travelers umbrellas.
How is your generosity making a difference; we have a story to tell. After the outing, Michael Gallo, Headmaster at Seton Hall Preparatory School, informed us that a student beginning his junior year at SHP had to leave because his younger brother was diagnosed with brain cancer, his mother needed to stop working to take care of her son, and therefore the parents would not be able to afford the tuition. It was your generosity that enabled the scholarship fund to cover the student’s tuition so he could remain a Pirate and finish his high school education at SHP. THAT IS WHY WE STARTED THIS EVENT!
Once again, we thank you for supporting the Brian L Rogers Sr & Jr Memorial Scholarship Fund. Dad, Mom, and Brian honored their families through the way they lived, and we are grateful to carry on their legacies through this scholarship.

The Brian L Rogers SR & JR Memorial Golf Tournament began with the vision of our matriarch, Mary Catherine Rogers, who established the event as a heartfelt tribute to her husband and our patriarch, Brian L Rogers SR, while supporting the enduring value of Catholic education at Seton Hall Preparatory School.
Over the years, the tournament’s mission has grown to celebrate the life and legacy of their eldest son, Brian L Rogers JR, and now proudly honors Mary Catherine as well. Together, their unwavering commitment to family, faith, and friends continues to inspire the ongoing success of this tournament.
Seton Hall Prep has long held a special place in the Rogers family’s history. Brian SR and all seven of his sons attended The Prep, and Mary Catherine was bestowed an honorary degree in recognition of her extraordinary dedication and support.
Today, the scholarship fund established in their honor has surpassed $400,000, helping their legacy live on by creating opportunities for future generations of Seton Hall Prep students.
In collaboration with Seton Hall Preparatory School, we have established Brian L Rogers SR & JR Memorial Golf Tournament. The net proceeds from today’s fundraiser will contribute to the endowment of this scholarship at Seton Hall Preparatory School, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. A portion of your contribution is tax deductible.
